What is Galaxy RHT?

RHT (Radiant High Temperature) heaters are infrared pre-mix gas systems that reach radiant surface temperatures of up to 950°C. They deliver a safe, reliable source of process heat by burning natural gas or propane and transmitting the energy as short-wavelength infrared radiation. Because that energy is absorbed directly by the exposed material, heating is fast and uniform — ideal for high-temperature processes such as dry-off, pre-gel, mould pre-heating and powder melting.

It works by:

  • Preparing a calibrated air/gas pre-mix in each burner’s integrated control system
  • Burning that mixture as a stable microflame across a metal-fibre radiant surface
  • Re-radiating the heat as short-wavelength infrared, absorbed directly and evenly by the target

Radiant High Temperature Technology

RHT radiant heaters deliver safe, reliable heat via short-wavelength infrared rays from gas combustion (Natural Gas or Propane). Infrared energy is absorbed rapidly and evenly by exposed materials, making the units ideal for high-temperature processes such as dry-off and pre-gel. They can be used alongside Gas Catalytic IR heaters or entirely on their own.

Every unit is constructed from high-temperature-rated stainless steel, with each burner featuring a precision pre-mix system for a consistently calibrated air-to-gas ratio.
