The Galaxy Lyte System

Entry Level System for powder coating MDF, HDF, OSB
and other Engineered Wood Products. With all the benefits of Gas Catalytic IR.

Specifications

  • Area required for installation – Minimum area is 60' x 30'
  • Systems are customizable to fit specific areas and production requirements
  • Electrical service required at 480 volts 3 phase – Ovens, Booth and Conveyor
  • Connected Gas Load – 675,000 BTU/Hour

Key Features

  • Suitable for cabinet and fabrication shops that are producing up to 2 kitchen sets of doors and drawer fronts per day
  • Requires 1 – 2 people to operate, using a single hand powder gun for application
  • Parts require a 1.50 min preheat, followed by powder application and a 6 min curing cycle
  • Product is loaded on flight bars that are cycled through all the processes
  • Cool down is approximately 20 mins with a cycle time on the line of approximately 40 mins
  • Each Flight bar holds 3 medium sized doors or 6 drawer fronts
  • Maximum part that can be powder coated is a full 4’ x 8’ sheet of MDF
  • As an added benefit, the Galaxy Lyte will also powder coat metal parts once properly pre-treated
